Illusional throws using an arm circle between throw and catch (Keith-y Throws remixed), plus a horizontal throw in the middle of a plane-bendy antibend pattern.

Curt Carlyle wants to call them “Faith Throws.” What do you think?

In Oregon you can’t pump your own gasoline! I get to! It’s my job! Inbetween cars I’m permitted to dance and juggle. I play my music and worship the speakers. I get paid to practice and I pay rent. Poi… Dance… Juggle… Practice… at work. The job isn’t always pleasant. There are quite rude people in the world (turns out I’m a person). So there you have it. Practicing and committing to pumping the positive out to the people, one fill-up and dance at a time.

Plane-Bending in wall plane means the poi rotate in wheel plane and bend to rotate in floor plane. 4 timing and directions can be perfomed 2 ways each: Toward/Toward (and Away/Away) and Toward/Away (and Away/Toward).

Pattern, Hybrid, And Transition (P.H.A.T.) Chart.  64 1:3 patterns.  Each of 8 tiles in a row share a hand and prop position (H.A.P.P) on the vertical axis.  Each of 8 tiles in a column share a hand and prop position on the horizontal axis.  Pink is left hand, Cyan is right hand. Each of these patterns will have 4 Toroid equivalents.

Colored tiles represents positions of the arms in 3D space.  Positive (+) and negative (-) are assigned to each of three axes.  Each large position tile represents one of nine possibilites of the left and right arm on 3 axes.  Left is pink and Right is Cyan. Each large position tile represents 4 positions of the arms.  (++, –, +-, -+).  Each middle-sized position tile represents two positions of the arms, each with a mirror, making 4 small position tiles in the itty-bitty squares.  white dots represent the arm being on the “positive” side of the axis, while the black dots represent the arms’ position on the “negative” side of the axis.  

All tiles are viewed as from the back of a teacher, the back of a stage, or the back of yourself staring out at an audience.  

The two heand will each move in either wall plane, wheel plane, or floor plane.

Toroid Hybrids.  Bending one poi while antibending the other yields neat-o visuals and feels.
